City of Cartersville

The city hosts a number of annual events including the Rock Swap festival, where gems, minerals, rocks and jewelry are displayed. Also, the Great Lake Allatoona Cleanup in September and the Roselawn Arts and Crafts Festival in April are both held in Cartersville.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Cartersville had a population of 15,925 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 32.3%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
